Production
Once the purchase order has
been received, the cylinder is
placed into production.
Every member of the
manufacturing process has access
to all the relevant inspection and
specification information.
In Process Inspection
Each stage of repair and
manufacture is fully
documented and signed off.
Final Inspection
All components undergo final
inspection prior to assembly.
Our stripping and assembly benches are of the longest and largest in Africa. Between our benches we can accommodate cylinders with an extended length of up to 26m, a diameter of 700mm, weight up to 20 ton, torque up to 150 000 newton meters & extraction force of 20 tons.
Tambani Has 1 honing machine in our capacity.
Tambani have a total of 10 lathes to accommodate small to large cylinders which includes a 10m lathe with a swing of 1250mm.
Our milling machines consist of a Bridgeport, 2x milling machines and a radial arm drilling machine.
We have a total of 4 CNC machines and 1 CNC lathe machine.
